Bonerific.

I had the pleasure of seeing The Foo Fighters documentary Back and Forth yesterday in a one night only screening, followed by a full album performance broadcast yesterday at Empire Studios in Square One. The screening, having taken place live a week previous in the US and other countries, had its Canadian premiere last night at 7.

The documentary was very intimate, honest and beautiful put together. In usual "rockumentary" format it went through the band's history, starting from the split up of Nirvana to coming and going of different Foo members. It finished up with a look at the recording of Wasting Light, which the band recorded (on tape) in Grohl's garage.

Rating for the entire experience: 8.5/10

Only complaint: watching a live recorded performance in a hot packed theatre, seated, was a bit awkward. But interesting none the less.

I am a happy girl.

Sad to see you go.

After almost a decade of being my favourite band, RX Bandits have announced their last tour.

From the 6 members we started to follow, now to the strong 4, their music evolved from poppy punk ska songs of the Pharmaceutical Bandits to the ever progressing experimental rock they're leaving us with today.

They're counted out as my most seen live band to date, for good reason. (see video link below)

Rx Bandits, much love and respect. As a fan, thank you and I'll miss you.
